RE: Pavillons et maths
Finally, the prototypes arrived last WE. The William Neile horns are a revelation! They blamed the TH4001 in every aspect and what is the biggest surprise that the soundstage is more stable compared to TH4001. Up/down, left/right, forward/backwards, rotating the head: everything has a smooth transition and the soundstage is almost existing in extreme listening positions. They also bring a new level of upper bass precision and clean compression driver sound. The biggest advantage is the 3d sound stage improving much in depth. And all this comes together with perfect exponential loading.
There exist also a super ellipse version build by Don from Canada:

RE: Pavillons et maths
Sadly, the cooperation with LMH did not work. I have never received the horns as ordered, although having paid in advance:
https://sphericalhorns.net/2025/05/07/la...#more-3391
But there is a new prototype for my final generation horns for TD4001 in the making. The designated cut-off is 250Hz.
