RE: SABA Greencones

I agree with you that it is very hard to find good combinations of fullrange drivers and supertweeters.
But I think this is not the case regarding the Greencones.
This particular combination was developed by SABA as a perfect supplement. The membranes are made from the same green 'magic'-paper.

I did a lot of experimenting for years trying outstanding fullrange speakers and found only very few speakers which had a sufficient high-frequency response. Not to talk about other problems.
E.g. some Philips, Telefunken and for example the Loewe-Opta speakers shown here:
(The Loewe was from a friend. I often made A/B comparisons at home).

For the Mélaudia-Concours-speaker I am trying to find another compromise. As I have told before. (May be I am wrong with this approach
