You mentioned that the Saba greencones need super tweeters. Do you mean they are able to produce superbasses ?
In a fulllrange configuration, and without the low frequencies the overall equilibrium might be very unbalanced to the treebles when adding a super tweeter. Not to speak of the difficulty to find a tweeter which sound close enough to the fullrange cone. In this case, the old 400K rule of thumb seems still very relevant to me.
In my past experiences with fullrange speakers, I noticed that adding a tweeter for sure leads to more flattering sound but, finally, I always came back to the one speaker listening, more natural in my opinion.
A note about the listening volume : hopefully, we don't plan to listen at very high volume neither specialize on cone breaking test tracks
